The Feng Shui of the Chinese Economy

Sort of an interesting story I found over at Digital Journal. While it isn’t exactly about Feng Shui, and more about the economy of China, it does show how the concepts of Feng Shui (Wind and Water) play into the every day sense of how the economy should work. It makes for an interesting read, and certainly shows how the concepts of feng shui go everywhere in chinese life.

Feng Shui Reveals Power of Bourton-on-the-Water

Not entirely sure what to make of this story from the BBC’s Glouchestershire section, but it certainly shows some interesting influences from the power of Feng Shui:

A new study by a Feng Shui consultant claims that a Cotswold village is continuing to flourish because of the way a river runs through it.

Research by Dr Michael Oon claims that the River Windrush flows through Bourton-on-the-Water in a way that is perfect for supplying energy to the village.

Michael Oon, from Surrey, is trained in the practise of Traditional Feng Shui, which he says “is the Chinese Management System of Land in the Built Environment”.
